A good example of what the Reguerín I pocket yielded. I liked its architecture, and that the Fluorite was mounted on Quartz with its characteristic perimorphs of Calcite, which have growth phantoms too and, in general, has more “life” than most other pieces from this pocket, whose specimens generally had larger cubes, but whose overall look was more “dull” than the appearance of this piece, which I always found to be very cheerful.

MTX56CD1: Quartz (variety amethyst) after Fluorite

In Sidi Rahal, these Quartz crystal growths (amethyst variety) that replace the walls of cubic Fluorite crystals, have slightly amethyst color tones, which is why this specimen is so unusual. Its intense color, equivalent to that of the amethysts from Brazil, gives this specimen a very high level of quality. The Magazines ‘Lapis‘ and Le Règne Minéral‘ know this, and that is why they both reviewed it as a novelty for Munich 2023. SV3640EZT: Quartz with Quartz after Fluorite

An odd piece from Sidi Rahal: Large, with a pretty color and in good condition, with two peculiarities: small crystals that form elongated groups of stalactitic aspect, not much seen before in Sidi Rahal, and also, the presence of a pseudomorph of Quartz after a large Fluorite crystal. It does not stand out especially because it is on the side of the specimen and is very flat, but there it is. A double rarity from a locality that already had a tendency to yield peculiar quartzes.
